1. Spyder Standard/Compact A
($130)
For the price, the spyder is your best bet for an entry level gun. The spyderis reliable, sturdy, easy to upgrade, and parts are easy to locate. |
2. Tippman Model 98 ($148)
The model 98 is a great gun, if you get a after market barrel. The model 98 is very quiet, and is well engineered. The model 98 has a quick treaded barrel, and a handy break open feeder. |
3. F4 Illustrator ($170)
The F4 is practically the same design as the spyder, but the F4 is nicer looking and is made of higher grade materials. |
Paint Markers Semi Auto ($200+)
1. Spyder SE ($225)
If you want a tricked gun right out of the box for a good price the spyder SE is your choice. SE comes with a expansion chamber, .45 grip frame, sight rail, venturi bolt, and a velocity adjuster. |
2. Automag Classic ($318)
Automag guns use a single mechanical chamber instead of the double weighted mechanism that the spyder like design use. This allows the gun to be light in weight and considerable quiet. These guns usually come with only a frame, you need to buy a barrel on top of the frame price. These guns are best used with a remote line setup instead of the on board CO2 system. These are great tournament style guns and are very popular with the pros. |
